September Metro NY Ohio University Alumni Newsletter

We had such a great time on the After Work Cruise even though the line to the bar got a little long at times! The sun setting behind the city and hanging out with everyone more than made up for it. Thanks to everyone who made it! If you didn’t make this one, hopefully we’ll see you at the next event!

Bobcat Bash in Foxboro!

We have been invited by the Greater Boston Chapter of the Ohio University Alumni Association to visit when the Bobcats take on UMASS in the Minutemen’s first MAC game on Saturday, September 29th at 3:30pm! The game is being played at Gillette Stadium, home to the New England Patriots. From Dave Abram, Chapter President:

I have included the link to the pre-game Bobcat Bash below, and unlike most Bashes, ours will be held “Tailgate” style, so if any additional attendees would like to pre-game adjacent to the Bash but on their own, they can feel a part of the larger Bash atmosphere. The Bash will start two and a half hours prior to kickoff, but the parking lot opens four hours before the game, so we will be pre-gaming as a Chapter far in advance of the official start of the Bash.

Anyone planning to attend must register prior to arrival at the Bash. Due to Gillette Stadium policy walk ups are not allowed. Get more info and/or register today

Additionally, via the UMass Athletics ticket office, we will have group ticket purchasing options of $10 for corner and end zone seats and $25 for sideline seats!

For more info about the bash or to get tickets to the game, just email Dave: DAbram@parksite.com

Until next month,
